Someone trashed my house while I was doing pretty stuff yesterday. I'm cleaning now, and a deep scrub in the laundry room. Happy to be rid of house chickens! e

A clean laundry room!! I like having them in the house and I have a good candidate for a house chicken but she produces an awful lot of dust

You would have thought I had never seen an egg how I came running back in the house! Other half thinks I've gone more crazy than usual

Typical though, they start up laying in good numbers but I have no roo yet for fertile eggs for the EHAL

i don't have a roo either..the hens are laying great,they think i am crazy here too lol..

hi everyone,,thought i would catch up so i dont have so many to read later.granny hope you are feeling some better..that is exciting for camp and loko hatching together.granny tsc here starts chicken days feb 15 too..i saw it this am.i better stay away from there..last time i got chicks from them one was a roo,i can't have them here..

I suggested that a while ago. Since I realized this is going to suck for me and the dog as I will have dog tethered to me 24/7.

He got all defensive and grumpy and "why would I go without you"

Uh. What did you do before I moved down here you dumb donkey?!? Sigh.

Look. I know what it's going to be. Dog attached to me at all times (okay, fine, can handle that), and I'll end up with the kidlets while the moms chat and dads and my hubs do their manly things.

Ugh. And add worry about chickens since someone does have bloody poop. Have no idea who. They're all acting normal...

Why would he go without you? Oh goodness me " Bacuase even if your married you still have to have your own hobbies & friends" You are not joined at the hip!!
Every couple needs time apart to do their own thing.

Have you been feeding them something different? I thought mine were bloody once but it turned out to be some beetroot salad I had given them

Prostar, I met my hubs when I was 19, married him at 32 and we have 2 teenagers now. None of it ever would have happened if we had to do everything together. It's wonderful to be wanted, but I couldn't live with a clingy person. I agree with York, that you need time to yourself, once in awhile. Do you even enjoy the racing? I'd make him go and stay home and have myself a little mini-vacation! Otherwise, you are going to be putting up with it forever.

Prostar, I met my hubs when I was 19, married him at 32 and we have 2 teenagers now. None of it ever would have happened if we had to do everything together. It's wonderful to be wanted, but I couldn't live with a clingy person. I agree with York, that you need time to yourself, once in awhile. Do you even enjoy the racing? since my DH retired he is the same way.love him dearly but 24/7 i'm bout to go farkin nuts...
