Tom and I have been together for 22 years and when I say together you can take that literal . I made one trip to Fl. when my step-dad was dying and while one of us was in the hospital was the ONLY time we have been apart. Where one goes, the other follows. I never felt like I needed some alone time . I havent been alone in many years but feel like I am a lot. We were married a yr. when he had his first heart attack and 2 yrs when he had his stroke. BB in a min.

I took pics of the babies this morning. They were cold and puffed out, so they looked like little frizzles.

Doesn't look like there's much more growth in the combs since last time. 3 seem to have larger ones.

Svart honas, lula. My new breed! I have a breed pair, those seven babies, and nine eggs in the bator.

Wishing, humidity is up to 35%!! And temp is up, too. I'll check it in a few hours. The water wasn't too hot to carry, but it was probably more than 101-102.

I just checked on the Seramas (that means I pulled them all of the nests and gave them some treats - bird seed and kale). Still have 16 eggs, so definitely all broody and done laying. After treats are devoured, it will be the Battle of the Broodiest to see who gets to sit on the most eggs. 3 hens will share a box and sometimes they will share, sometimes one hogs all 4 eggs. Broody Wars!

I need to bring some clippers tomorrow because some of them are getting wicked long nails.

Up hill neighbor has daughter's dog staying there for this week. Stupid dog, barks constantly and especially when I go up to the bantam coop, which is close to the back fence. That dog is a chicken eater if I ever saw one, so I have been putting wire and boards up along the gate. If he gets through, it will be a bad scene.

Good morning friends. Gross coffe this morning and my house got tore up over night??? Thinking bil went on a binge. Weird fb posts about his family. My cupboards knocked out... Lots of cleaning to do today.... Uggggghhhhh

He'd have black eyes and knuckle bumps to go with feeling bad

He would be packing up and moving out of my house! Would not give a fark how bad he was feeling.

I got bit today! My fat little chubby penguin (Chukar) didn't like the beak and nail trimming! Usually so sweet and friendly. That particular one wasn't so much on the sweet side today!
