yep. I am considered the black sheep on my family.. although they love me very much... My sister and her family love Japanese anime.. and I love them.. I grew up in a house hold where I have and still now to this day know every Classic Star trek ever made... My brother plays the Rps board games and I am just me fitting in with the rest. Yes, I have a range of likes and dislikes and some people I can go out and just straight up ask.. others not so much.

You will almost never get a Coturnix to Brood.

Button quail you can get to brood if you recreate a nice little habitat for them with hidey places and small nestboxes.

Coturnix have RARELY gone broody undet the same conditions, VERY RARELY!

Isnt that part of the charm? Trying to imitate the natural whereabouts of the birds... That is what got me going on my first hatch ohhhh and the huge tortoise mansion in my playroom.... eek

Of all the years I had quail, none of mine even tried to set. If you have a small bantie that isn't too big to mash the eggs, like a silkie, they will hatch them.

A Pigeon will as well.

The Male will set when the Female isnt

Linda, I was like that w/ my sisters as they were all way smarter then me. I was in my 40s before i realized they dont have an ox. of common sense. We dont even talk since mom passed . One has just started calling .
