My DH was the at home for years cause I made the money... He is working now cause of my health and I appreciate it.. but I loved working and being the part time mom!!!! He was a way better at home parent than me.

Single parent or stay at home dad? We've got a friend who stays home while his wife works. He homesteads with the kids. Super fun. His 2yo hauls chicken feed in his pedal tractor.

No way! She's got a masters in speech pathology. He's got a degree in social work. Simple numbers there. But he watches the kids and does laundry and all the normal home stuff, then he raises eggs (that she sells at work) and meaties and vegetable garden and fruit trees. Makes all his stuff from pallets. He made a chicken plucker from spare parts. He makes his own charcoal and roasts coffee beans. It's all super impressive.

Edit: he could have worked, but they would have been paying most of his salary for childcare. This way his kids still get a parent at home.

I think its great that you are working your butt off for your wife and in turn she will work and you can do what needs to be done with the future kids. This is what relationships are all about.. there is not just one way.. there are many..
