I usually hang out the door and steer from the top but if it works for you I say use it

open the wing and just on one side . where the wing joins the body is bare skin. put a drop there. there is no need to spread it .

I did it twice. Should safeguard take care of mites or lice? This is her first winter. Got her last March I think. Could it be molt?
