I bought some baskets for lock down that have holes all around the sides and none on the bottom . wonder if they are needed ? humidity/water is in the top if that makes a difference .

Well they are doing that :/

Might try to sleep with them on a pillow on top of me & see how that goes.
Charlie off school this week for half term so he can do a few extra jobs for me.

Some shelf liner stuff in the bottom will help if they are slippy. Maybe add a few small holes in the bottom for air flow. Water at the top of the bator? I don't think that should make any difference, my evaporation pad sits in the top of the incubator and creates the humidity fine.

thanks i forgot about it being slippery. LOL so just a couple holes since it is pretty much surrounded by holes ?

If you think enough air is getting to them and the solid bottom of basket won't affect heat/air distribution it should be ok.
What day is it now?

its only day 6 and yes, it probably would affect the heat. wasnt thinking of that either.
