I have one RIR she is a good egg layer but thats about it. I dont see any personality. I dont know why he wanted chicks. He wouldnt of cared which ones I bought as long as I bought some. You know, slipping them in with the others just aint a bad idea, he probably would never know. I talked to him on the way up there about how winter and water was just too much for me. I cant do it. So its just his stroke I think wanting to buy more.

I learned somthing about rabbits today. hahaa Wanted to show them to Tom as they are a bit fascinating to me. so we are standing there watching all the cute babies and one of them keeps chasing the others around so of course thats the one I have my eye on. seeing how they play. It kept jumping on them and jumping off then would go to a different one and do the same . they would run and it would give chase. I am standing there with a big smile on my face and I turn to Tom who is standing behind me . He is scowling and he says, How long are you going to stand her watching that rabbit (you know what) ?

I could of just died ! They were babies ! At least, I thought they were.

beautiful weather today. school said 72 degrees. was 24 two days ago. Kind of a disappointment to find out those are rir. chick . oh well, good eggs I guess. So I have more roo problems. My swedish flower . he already has no toes and most of his comb is gone . So he roosts on a shelf about as high as a cinder block 8 in. maybe ? anyway , hes not feeling good. I pick him up to check his weight and he has something about the size of my fist on his breast bone. feels like a big ol muscle, its not. It is red only in spots like it has been rubbed and irritated.

I can hope something hatches from these eggs that look like him.

Tom has named one of his chicks already . Pamela. Says its got a big mouth.

Sorry about your rooster. If he has had a tumor growing, that might explain him not doing so well in the cold.
