I'm confused about that silkie now. It did crow twice yesterday morning but hasn't since. I take it outside today. I decided to name my newest ee roo twist. Wouldn't you know when I tell him his New name he jumps on the silkie and tries to mate.

Glad you left. Seeing a coward ( not a man ) do that sets me off to the point I don't remember how I put them in the hospital almost dead. I saw it with my mom and dad and I swore that if I was to see any man do that to a woman that I would kindly try my best to splatter his brains on the pavement. I have seriously injured more than one for that. Thank God my step dad and mother raised me.

Nope I think your Silkie is a hen & was just mimicking the crow it heard the ee do.

It's like little 16th of an inch bristles sticking up.

Sure wish you could do pictures. If there is sorta bristles on it, then I would lean towards a roo. The EE is probably alpha roo & was pointing that out to the Silkie roo

Had a hen last spring that stepped up to the roo's position when I rehomed the alpha roo from that coop. She literally mated the hens, was crazy weird
