The farken yard fence fell over... All the birds where out into others yards... Took me, Devin, Kyle and the dogs and littles to get them back..... They are all back.

One egg must have been in a cold spot because it looks about a day behind the others. Two late deaths in the honas. Of 20 set, two clears (EEs) and two late deaths. So 16 in lockdown. AC look perfect in all but the one slow EE. Honas could have been bigger.

You can lockdown today or tomorrow

Day one is the day after set, or 24 hours past set

unbelievable How long have I struggled ? Why wouldnt anyone use this instead of the wafer ?

Maybe because of the wiring? I know Sally prefers the wafer. This one is neat because you can set the temp, then set how many degrees it varies, then set how long it waits before kicking on. You can wire in a cooling option; I thought about adding a second fan with intake from outside air to cool the bator, but DH isn't interested in retiring anything. If the power goes out, it remembers its settings. I have one bulb hard wired, and one bulb in the tstat. So one is always on, and one cuts on and off.

Camping ~ Sorry stuff has been going wrong lately. I suspect you're a little down about the SH not selling. Struggling with that myself, sold 6 eggs & then nothing. So now I've got eggs coming out my ears & chicks that aren't selling. I'll keep my fingers crossed that that will change for the both of us

Linda ~ Glad you didn't get any birds at TSC. I think you will be much happier with getting chicks from the Mom & Pop store. Sorry that your son has that flu bug. Has been a really rough year for it
