i keep grit in for them and they eat it like candy is that normal?

no, if your ONLY giving chick starter take the grit away. that may be the reason. They will fill up on that could cause the constipation and big crop.

she was constipated before i put the grit in i thought that might help.but i won't give them anymore...

if they are eating too much they wont get what they need . I really dont know why it would of gotten constipated . I had never heard of one doing that before.

me either,the rest are fine,she had pasty butt and the others didnt,and she was constipated when i bought her home,thats when i started reading about it i knew something was wrong.she seems ok now.they are very active and when i clean the cage they get on my arm.i have never had such friendly chicks...
