I know this is a stupid question...... but do you know where they are coming from? Are they in your chicken houses?
no the coop are out at the farm about 30 miles away. I honestly have no idea where they all came from but I WISH they would GO BACK there. I could maybe understand a little if my house was truly filthy not my version of filthy and I had piles of trash everywhere I DO NOT

maybe have to try "fresh out" and just try to not breath so much. I am truly about to the end of my rope

Quote: I was wondering that as well. Didn't you have an unseasonably warm spell not long ago? I bet this is a mouse population explosion from the nice weather. They are looking for food and shelter. The exterminator guy should know.

YOU do all realize that I can not give you mouse "cooties" over the internet and I am safe to chat with ??????

Sorry. My dad called and then I had to go yell at encourage my boy to finish his senior project (senior-itis has set in), and then I started some laundry and ate breakfast lunch. Dad just called and is on his way over to show me his camera. We talked about cameras for 2 hours this morning already!

He's here! Bye!!!

Took a long drive out into the forest today.. stopping to stand in the rain and look at hood canal and the fog linger from the top of a mountain. I think its needless to say that we are feeling a little empty inside. Spent most of the morning out of cell phone service and drove to find a million messages from my family. Joey has caused unnecessary drama and has brought my parents into this, nonissue.... Devin is over there now picking him up but never in a million years would I have thought one of my own would bring me such havoc.... I recieved a text message from his girlfriend today saying that her grandpa can take joey for a few days so that me and devin have time to think about stuff... I dont know where they think they are living but this is not a soap opera and I have no time for foolery especially since there are important things in life to worry about. I love my son, but I am having a very difficult time liking him right now.

And as far as Lisa goes.... I know how she is feeling cause I think many of us have been there before. I will do everything in my power to make her feel loved and to let her know that I am willing to fight for a friendship I held dearly.... I dont believe anyone intentionally hurt her.. but she is hurting.

So I guess I will get off my soap box... I might run to a bar tonight, just to get away for a bit.. undecided.. I love each each and everyone of you and I hope you all know that I say that truely.

Granny, chin up. Everyone else chin up as well and hatch some babies.

I've been out playing with the goats ALL DAY. I mucked out the goat side, washed it, and it was holding water. So I took the drill and put about 20 holes in the floor so the water drained. Let that dry and put in fresh hay. In between all that we had MANY excursions through the "pasture" because the goatlings didn't want to go anywhere without me. :love

They've been getting into the chicken side, which is a big problem. We're going to take a scrap of plywood and make a circle in the middle that the chickens can fit through. Think that'll work on the goats? If not then they'll get the stick necklaces like the goats in South Africa. Three sticks tied into a triangle so they couldn't fit through garden fencing.

My boys are smelling very goaty. :/ I've asked a couple of folks about a banding tool, so :fl I can get one soon.
