Good on ya for banding the kids Campi
good deal camping, congrats.......Thanks papa!It was super easy. I couldn't risk them breeding that doeling.![]()
We pulled them out of the barn one at a time and each time the two left in the barn cried WAY louder than the one getting cuddles, because they were afraid they were missing out on feed.![]()

banding is for sure the way to go.
any time we had kids, we would move the mamma and her babies over to our big chicken yard, and keep them separate from the herd, for a few weeks.....Thanks Bert.![]()
It for sure seemed less invasive than cutting or crimping. I just went ahead and bought the tool and bands, about $12 altogether.
Now if I can just keep them out of the chicken feed...that's my big project this morning.![]()
