Anyone know how this happens this is a oak tree with flowers

That is something I have never seen. Thought maybe it was some kind of fungus at first. Would love to see some more pics in a week or so to see how it changes.

Redbud, Cercis canadensis, on Saint Bernard Street, between 49th and 50th Streets, off Warrington Avenue, visit in late April-early May to see its unusual distribution of flowers almost completely clothing the entire tree.

Mosquitoes are so thick I can hardly breathe. I've ordered a small trap for the coop. It's supposed to cover 300 sq ft. If it works I may push for the one that covers 1/2 acre.

Morning all. "Down the hill" and running some errands...then home to finish cleaning/prepping the "hot mess" (our trailer) for our impending trip up to Sacramento and points yonder.

Gotta do some work in the truck too...oi.

How far north are you going? Going toward the coast at all? I'm about 1½hrs due west of Sac.

I think the next addition to your menagerie should be a herd of muscovy ducks! They are named for their mosquito eating prowess! Supposed to really cut down on pesky files too, and they are very quiet, and they supposedly taste pretty good. Close to beef.

good after noon all.   busy morning   all the quarterly payroll taxes paid and forms filled out.  Xboxed with bro,  sorted eggs, did payroll, 1 POT of coffee  visited with Robert as he was in for a cat scan.  Was at angies beck and call 2x and all  since 8:45 am  and only 1:30 HERE NOW.

OH  woke up to snow on the ground again.  All melted now.

No let up then granny We had some pretty loud thunder the other day, could feel it through your feet :/ Not keen on it or lightening since we nearly got zapped one day. Was dashing to get the horses in and a bolt came down and hits a fence post! No more dashing we were running!!

Mom told me once she seen it dancing across the floor in the house. I have a cousin that was paralyzed when it hit a tree then her. 16 yrs. old she was. She went on to raise 2 children. Her own.
