Cant hatch any ya dont incubate

From the EHAL I got 10 eggs hatch

from like 38 or 39

Only thing I can do to cheer me up is to hatch more!!

Last year at this time I had 70 something eggs in & only had 20 something hatch ~ I understand disappointment

One of my EEs was laying 70g eggs at first. They've gotten smaller since then. I have a theory that they larger eggs right off the bat when they don't lay through the winter and save their first eggs for spring. All my EEs were hatched last April but didn't lay til last month. My EE pullet was hatched in November and her first eggs are tiny.
