The ones granny showed you in the video are no where near show standard, but who cares unless you want to show them. Mine are pet quality. 2or 3 of the current chicks might have some potential, but time will tell. My remaining rooster, Mo, has a good chest but does not hold his tail up. I like him just fine, but he'll never be in a show and I doubt any of his offspring will either. You can walk right up to Mo and pick him up.
Mo's standing on tiptoe trying to look big, but he's very small.
He's chasing the big girls away from his flock.
The black Marans was raised with the Seramas, so she's still allowed to be with them, even though she's no longer in their coop.

BTW thanks for the 411 on egg colorPapa, a RIR x Leghorn cross will get you white pullets that lay a shiny tinted (tan) egg.

Oh Lord. I meant he didn't like seramas. I don't have a clue how he feels and don't want to know lol. He's a great looking roo to me. Trying to be all big lol. I could care less about it being show quality. He looks show to me. Oh I don't want a Malaysian Serama if it looks like the exercist. Can someone post a pic of one?
