I wonder if me just grabbing eggs off the counter caused my sticky chicks ? I want to hatch some more polish. I never did advertise any for sale.

Do you turn your eggs that are sitting on the counter? I think it was Enola that said something about that. Maybe that's why my hatches had so many not make it. I just had the eggs sitting there for several days and never messed with them.

It is! We only texted briefly today. He's super busy trying not to have to extend his stay. Guess what he had for lunch yesterday. Go on. Guess..... I'll wait.... If you guessed tacos, you guessed wrong! Pizza. Can you believe it? From Pizza Hut! Hubs said he'd rather have had Chinese food. He is traveling with a new guy, showing him around. 6'2" white guy. They probably think he can't eat Chinese food!

Hubs said he feels like he's coming down with something.

My fault. I was bragging about how good the immune support stuff works for him.

When I first started incubating I was so careful with everything. I would get the eggs a few times a day and take them straight to the closet wheere it was dark and cool and put them in the egg carton . I would turn /tilt them every time I added one . I didnt have a turner and made sure I scrubbed my hands and they were warm before I hand turned them.
Now Im like, grab some eggs off the counter and throw em in. why bother washing my hands the eggs are the ones that got chicken poop on them . nothing dirter then that.
