Did you read back Twist about my polish hen ? Red had a good idea about blocking it but Im thinking I cant do that because of the weight. wonder if there is plastic or something light weight to use instead ? It will be wasted space but better safe then more broken legs. its 16ft. wide then to turn it probably 6ft. each way.

you could try the fiberglass panels they use for "windows or light" in pole barns and shops. But that is going to cost a bit. they are light weight tho
 
ya, I need cheap stuff. storage would be nice too. Maybe if i do the plywood floor I could stack my extra cages up there in such a way they wouldnt have room to jump up.

how would you manage to get anything up there with your bum foot ??? if you build steps your defeating the purpose and using a latter to get up is going to be tuff with you arms full of cages.
