Wishing, I'm with you on the guesses. That calico one is granny's roo. If I can't get him to her, then I'll probably get rid of my big EE roo and keep the baby. The two big roos are treading heavy on the EE hens, so getting rid of the EE would give me pure RIR eggs. Plus the RIR roo is friendlier.



Here's the comb on chick 7. Pea comb right?

Oh, poor girls getting all worn out back there. I can't tell on the pea comb, would need to see it straight on. Maybe what people call a modified pea comb? Not quite single or pea? Still think he's a boy.

Single best thing: getting out there. Introducing myself to strangers, making new friends, eating crazy food. Dressing up, going to shows, drinking cocktails. Visiting the spa, napping in the sun, participating in games. All sorts of things I never do, and have never done.

I don't spend money on a "maybe I'll like it." I don't order expensive meals at restaurants. I'd never eaten filet mignon before. Never had a bagel with lox for brunch. But on the cruise a lobster dinner "cost" the same as a cheeseburger or a pizza. All the "included" restaurants were equal.

So we splurged! We had appetizers! Sometimes two! And entrees! And dessert! And coffee with dessert! We saw comedians! We watched music shows! We visited other countries! We went to an art auction and drank free champagne! The entire cruise, start to finish, was the single best thing.

I say everyone should do it. I think our upfront was about $1500 for the two of us for the one we just finished. Then about another $1K for gratuity, drinks, excursions, and shopping. Sounds like a lot but we NEVER do ANYTHING. We're already socking away our nickels for next year.

I started a photo album on my profile!! I only got through the second day, though. It zapped my battery. I'll keep updating later.
