Its 71* this am & headed up tp 80. Dh is in garden laying off rows for watermelons, squash(crookneck, butternutt, zucchini), cucumbers, peas & tomatoes. Will be a productive week if we get all that planted.

Lots of work but there method to the madness. I learned alot of what i know from my dad. Brother, sister, dad & me would go to the garden. Within an hour brother & sister would go home to use bathroom & not come back.

My grandpa always had a garden, but it was never very successful. Not for lack of trying. None of his kids, grands, or great grands have a garden. I'm the closest thing to a farmer even though we all came from farming families. Breaks my heart.

I need to decide where to put some things.

Tell me jane if you think this will work? I had saved a bunch of gallon vinegar jugs, and I'm cutting the tops off. I'm going to decorate the bottom parts and plant them in the garden beds, so like they'll sit on top of the garden? I just thought it would be cute.

good morning all I actually sort of managed to sleep last night.

still stopped at dentist and talked to receptionist as he was busy. They are supposed to be calling me back. Got my reading glassed.

and not nothing is in the same place everything is scewed to one side. Probably because he "fixed" the stigmatism in both eye's. These are going to take some getting used to.

Just found out from my brother that both my niece and nephew are "graduating" on the same day. but 30 to 40 miles apart. He is getting a desiel Mechanic's cert and she is getting pre-vet (4 year) so not the type of things you think of when talking graduations.
