In my coop? "Silver thing" is a white basin for a potted plant. I was using it to block the entrance to the day lilies, which they got to anyway. "Tube thing" is a PVC feeder that I don't use because it's hard to fill and holds water. :/

It's fine, in theory. I have it too close to the edge, so the rain blows in. And I have to stick my hands through the wire to get the cap off, then pour over the wire to fill it. Just a big mess. That whole coop is a lesson in how to do things wrong!
