well, I put whole ones in there and they wouldnt touch them . Took me a while to figure out it was the peel. I just assumed all chickens were like that.

I tried that too. I think you may be right and they are spoiled. You should see the mess DD brought for them yesterday. 3 heavy boxes of veggies. chard, lettuce, white radish, squash and the green one I cant spell.

So, Did you know you can have a never ending supply of celery ? Just cut the root part and a couple inches of the stem and replant.

If you are looking for free veggies for the chickens and grocery wont let you have them any more try the local food banks. they are happy to give you what is a little too old to give out. I get stuff That is still good but has an expired date. chickens love it. DD gets it delivered right to her door for me >>

no cool and you can plant the tops of pineapples and grow your own also

I read about 3-4 different things to do like that. Only remembered the celery. LOL
