DD brought a ton of can food over . she said they are packing to move and there was just too much. all stacked together its about 4' long ,2' wide and 6cans high. enough for small army . Of course I have no idea what is in there and if its what we use. Robert has soup though. Got my shower tonight so I can save a little energy tomorrow. Not looking forward to going.

Strangest thing just happened. The dominant cockerel had the trouble making upstart laid out flat on the floor of the cage, head stretched out and down, tail down, not moving at all. The dominant boy was sitting upright, looming over him, almost like he was daring trouble to move. They stayed that way for quite some time. The other 4 chicks were lined up in the roost. I've been waiting for the dominant one to do something about the upstart who has been tormenting the other 2, totally submissive, silkied cockerels and chasing after the pullets. No blood or anything. We'll see how tomorrow goes. 'Bout time!!!

I did not have good luck with roosters this time. Last time 6 pullets, 3 cockerels. Much better. The 2 silkied boys are so ugly, but they can stay together as a pair. Both very submissive. Mr. Man was so riled up he pecked me on the hand! What a brute! I picked him up and held him for awhile and he calmed down. Little chick scratch made it all better. I haven't spent any time with them since I messed up my back. They forgot who I was!

That picture is crappy quality. I should get myself one of those nifty little cameras.

I was going to say the same thing but didnt want to sound rude. LOL Why would you send me a camera better then yours ? You should of kept the new one and sent me the old .
