Well I filled out a police report... Mainly so I have a case number if I have to fight identity theft. Need to figure out how or if I report it to the credit bureaus. Onwards we go... I don't believe in upwards any more.

Stupid people! It's not even the money, but all the time and trouble it causes. And it's the money.

Maybe go look around in any dumpsters nearby. They may have tossed your papers. If there is sensitive info on them, you may want to track your credit carefully. They will take cards out in your name and run up charges. Sorry Linda. You have had more than your share of stress lately.

I've never had trouble with tsc chicks. Must be different in other places.

I've never bought any from TSC. I think it varies store to store, though. Actually I've never had any problems with chicks (knock on wood) or chickens, for that matter. I've lost more to my own stupidity than even predators. I've only lost about 10 chicks in the hundreds that I've hatched. But I'm a meddler, so they're not really ever unattended for long.

I'll make two years in August. I lost several, about one every other day, last year and I couldn't figure out why. Then I saw a baby possum walk across the top of the brooder. I think they were crushing each other to get away from it, even though they were secure.

Well I don't mind talking to hear the sound of my own voice.

I got about 1/3 of one garden bed planted. Three little rows of radishes, and three little rows of carrots. I left room between each row to push in some nasturtium seeds. Tomorrow I'm planting tomatoes, okra, squash, corn, sunflowers, marigolds, peas, beans, etc. All from seeds. I picked the varieties that yield quickly. Guess we'll just see what happens...

Goats did well today until someone left the gate unlatched and they got out. But they went straight back to their house. DH said there were lots of hawks around today. I was around and outside most of the time, but I still hope they didn't get anything. I can't rember how many I have. I tell people it's 17, but that's just the camp coop.

I sat on the porch at the canteen for a while today. Just sitting and listening to music. So nice! Weather is perfect. Wish y'all were here with me.
