Sorry for complaining... I just haven't found my footing yet with this situation.
It's good to complain here! Gets it out of your system a little, and easier to keep the peace in real life.

I was thinking about how hard it would have been to move back in with my parents, almost impossible, and that's with only 2 boys. For some reason, parents seem to think you should raise your kids the same way you were raised! But times are different, I'm different, and quite frankly, as much as I enjoyed and appreciated my childhood, there are definitely parts that I will not repeat, inflict?, on my kids. My parents don't see it that way of course, so how would you go about telling them that? criticizing while living in their house? It would be hard. It was hard for me when #1 was little and we lived over an hour away! Favorite topic of conversation was what I should try or shouldn't do with him, and the implied What is wrong with that child? that was never spoken. I never told them about all the testing and potential trouble he had before he was even born! I was so happy he was not seriously handicapped or a vegetable, which were both options presented to me when I was 5 months preggers.

Had to tell them when he was about 2, because we did end up moving in with them, sort of, in the old house on the same property. With my sister! oh my. It wasn't horrible, it was my family who are not horrible, but it was very hard and sometimes stressful for all, since my family is a collection of hermits, and I felt very out of place and unable to make even the smallest decision without thinking of everyone else. After almost a year there, and pregnant with #2, I was frantically looking for a house, dragging my 2 yr old with me. I wanted my own place for my family.

Yeah, so complain away! I took it out on the weeds, hacking and chopping all around that old farm house. Whole forests of berry brambles leveled and removed. I killed a lot of weeds!!

Lol!!!! You did read where I mowed three lawns the other day!! Hahahaha

Yes! Outside felt good! And not a single person could have anything negative to say about getting rid of weeds! You are going to end up mowing the whole neighborhood!

I also drove up to the forest the other day and shot the rifle for a few rounds. Lol I've got to think of more productive stuff than that.
