I've been to that big show a couple of times, but didn't try to meet byc people.  Did talk to Walt a bit once, but he was so busy.  Very nice man, let me hold one of his ko shamo pullets.  She felt like a brick!!  I quit reading the N.Cal thread a couple years back because it was heavy into serious breeding and hatching, and I didn't have much to say.  Seems slower these days, so maybe I should jump back on it.  I have a few serama cockerels to sell and one pullet.  If you know of anybody wanting them, send them my way.  Is facebook the only other way to buy/sell birds?  Craigslist doesn't have many listings compared to a few years ago, so I guess fb has taken it's place.  Too bad for me since I'm not on it.

Any time you are up in the bay area, let me know! :ya I would love to go to a dog show to oogle the Ridgebacks, but hubs never wants to go, and it's just not as much fun oooing and awwwing by yourself.  Do you show?  When's the next one?  :P

Hi wishing,
I was amazed at the show. I didn't get to meet Walt though. I almost bought a rooster and/or a chick but didn't. I don't have a proper quarantine place at my house yet.
The Northern California list is very slow. Just mainly chit chat. A couple of breeders but I don't think anyone shows. I will sure let people know about your seramas. I am not sure how to sell birds. I have had my chicks on Craig's list any never get much interest. They are priced cheap also. I am trying to stay off FB. I WASTE TOO MUCH TIME on it. I think to dog show in Santa Rosa is in sept. Yes we show our dogs. My friends have RR. They are very cool dogs. If I am in your area I will let you know. There is a Facebook site for Northern California to sell poultry.

sounds dumb but just not mature yet. Silkies are normally more gentle then that.

He's not rough really. Once he finally catches one ( only when they let him), he grabs em by the back of the neck just for a second then gives em a smack on the cheek. Then just sits there and looks at em.

Red how old was your silkie before you knew it was a roo?
honestly I'm still trying to figure it out lol. No seriously I suspected around three months I think. And knew once he crowed.

MC, Why would you be afraid of me ?  I aint nobody.
I went out and mowed around the coops and from the hose to the coops then watered and fed them all I got a big basket of eggs and 3 hens still sitting. If that black dont stop pecking me she is going in the pot !

'Cause you are this big entity. Everyone knows you, even if they don't follow you. You are like the pope!
