yes, thats what I did wrong.  I still have one in the freezer I also didnt let set. It got cleaned and went straight to the freezer. Its over 7lbs. I was going to do the beer can up the butt but It has been recommended now to cook it in a bag.  It will probably stay in the freezer til its thrown out.

Do you have a pressure cooker? Use it! Don't throw good food

Oh my. Too much energy! My neighbor has an old one, 16 years, spinal trouble causes him to drag his back feet so he has to wear these little shoes to keep his toes from getting raw. All that and Pete still walks that dog 4 or 5 times a day.
She's about 11 yrs old and is slowing down. Still has a bunch of energy though.

Mornin'

Granny, pooch pictures please!  I need to get a shaver for Scooter.  This is the shortest his hair has been and he's so happy.  Runs around and wants to play all the time.  Terminal puppy  :D

Linda, hope your friend's dog is okay.  Also glad a kid wasn't involved!

Chaos, not all ankle biters are created equal.  What kind is yours?  It would be hard for me to live without a dog.

Hey y'all. I'm fine. No flooding. We actually have sunshine today! :yesss: Just busy with camp and farm.

:hugs to all. :love

Good.  Sounds like the stuff hitting Florida came from the other direction.  How's mama-to-be goat?

Well I went out to let chickens, ducks and turkeys out of coops tripped over water hose. Face planted in dirt. Of course being out in boonies no one heard me scream. Right knee is swelling and have ice pack on it now. Taken meds and going back to sleep if I can! :he . Oh! Morning all.

ugh.  The older I get, the farther away the ground seems.  Hope you feel better!

Ornery. She's getting closer by the day, so I'm cleaning their coop today just in case.

Or a crock pot.

Granny, I think freezing will relax the meat also. Especially when you let it thaw out in the fridge for several days. It should be fine to do the beer can thing. Best way to ensure people will like it is to let them get good and hungry first! Nothing worse than slaving away in the torture chamber only to receive grumbling and complaints as a thank you.

What about those terrible " shrinking " rubber bands?
