I don't like it either, but I want something edible. ....frozen hot dogs...

When I first left home, I was thinking I would make some gravy. I used water in the pan drippings! It was a disgusting greasy mess. I had no idea. Knew more about changing oil in my car than cooking oil.

you can use water ! for brown gravy. I think ? I used to ok I still do make dumplings trying to make gravy.

What the kids call Epic Fail. You can guess I paid more attention to how mom made the gravy that Thanksgiving! I was too embarrassed to ask.

Mom didnt like anyone in the kitchen and I didnt care. first meal I made after I left home . veggie soup. I opened cans of veggies and I did know she used some kind of meat and all I had was a can of salmon so I dumped that in. bones floating on top. no seasoning . just corn green beans and salmon in water.

my father gave me 2 books when I was in my 30s. the joy of cooking and that other Joy of. Needless to say I memorized one and used the other to fix the table leg.

I used to draw the human body before I switched to wildlife. My DD put a post up yesterday on FB of an old lady sculpting a man part from clay and one of her male friends said thats nasty. I told him a few things and he asked to friend me. ! LOL
