Y'all are super fast! I almost missed this! My youngest son (military and "gone" most of the time) is being surprised with a masquerade birthday party this weekend! I'm so excited, because he has no idea we're coming! He knows something is going on this weekend but is completely clueless, because he thinks it's just going to be a romantic getaway for the two of them. Four from this house and thirty-five guests from there have RSVP'ed.

Granny, I grew up around a lot of chickens when I was a girl, but they were all the big white chickens and I've forgotten more than I could ever remember. I didn't know there were so many different breeds, etc. until I found this site. lol I sure hope your chick is encouraged to eat, gets stronger and survives.
