so while admiring the new baby and just generally enjoying life with the yaks. I was amazed again by how short they actually are. None of the "girls" actually come up to me chest, more the height of a Shetland pony. Also wondering how much more Star's belly can grow before it drags along on the ground. And to be honest I don't think I could straddle her like going for a horseback ride.

your a tall guy but they look taller then that. what about Porter ? Or maybe you havent been close enough to tell where he comes up to on you ? do you know the weight of any of them ?

this song came to mind while feeding Star grass picked from outside the paddock. Was having a hard time keeping up with her. And their tongues are AMAZING more like a giraffe's with the flexability

we are guessing 500 to 600 on the NON-pg girls, and Porter around 1200. He isn't really tall either but much taller then the girls and very looooong So a lot of prime rib and ribeye's on the boy.
