its too hot to move.
Wishing, Tom has better insurance then I do.   Dr. cut his toenails and made them bleed, took xrays that showed nothing so its his sugar and circulation. He ordered him some shoes .
I am bleeding again.   No wonder I am so tired.

It's 60 degrees here with lots of gloomy clouds. Your stomach bleeding? What's the plan of action

I am so tired of this pain. I guess I could buy some liquor. thats still legal aint it ? Talk about tearing the stomach up though.

No fruit, seeds, or fiber? Maybe you can eat a couple spoons of honey a day and try to coat it? Or some hard cheese? Dairy would probably be bad, but in The Grapes of Wrath they gave the girls cheese to cure the "skitters" caused by eating green fruit.

I just had ~22 junior-high campers (and three staff) at the farm and we all survived!! The tractor babies were running loose all over. I told the kids that the animals live there, and they don't, and to enter the farm respectfully like it was the preacher's house. Then I said "if you don't have a preacher, then act like you're visiting the queen of England." So some of them spoke to the animals in British accents.

I wanted them to understand that if they harassed the animals this week, then they would be afraid of campers next week.

All the kids did great!

I used to teach jr high science. They are still curious about stuff, especially animals, but the trick is they disguise their interest with tomfoolery.

Hope your barfy staff member was a one off and not the beginning of an epidemic. You reacted so quickly!! I bet Murphy is going to hang around until the goat kids. Then maybe he'll move on and give you a break.

I'm really good at acting quickly and thinking later.

Well, I thought it was great how quickly you isolated the sicky. Quick thinking!

Oh. Just so frustrating for you.

Bleeding is not good. Do me a favor though, please if you already aren't doing it, keep a little diary of your symptoms. It may help the doctors know what's going on if you have dates for onset of symptoms and how long they last. I had to do that after #1 was born. He was sick so much, and I was so tired, I kept a little notebook with me and wrote down everything. Nurse was very happy with me when I called her at midnight because his fever spiked to 104° and I could tell her when and how much his last dose of tylenol was.

Just because you can do it doesn't mean you should. Don't know that it would help much anyway.

I pulled a chair under the AC vent. I smell like barn. The boys are handling it all pretty well.

Wishing, last week I just happened to be on the basketball court when a little got stung by a bee. The head counselor looked at him, then looked at me with her eyes big. I told her to go get the first aid kit, and the medbag, and I put my coke can on his arm. After we got him medicated and bandaged, I took him to the canteen for a freeze pop told hold on it. Crisis averted. I still crack myself at how "southern mama" I acted. Could've only been better if I spit my tobacco juice on his arm.

A dear friend and her cousin from Wales (and his sister from Colorado) visited the farm today. Roxie waddled out to see them and they all noticed and commented on her poor heavy belly. It's too hot to be so pregnant.
