Hi all, cute chicks banti.

When I got up this am I went out and took care of chickens, ducks and turkeys. Decided to check on garden and garden is overgrown with weeds. Cleared one row, threw all weeds to the birds. It was hilarious watching them.

Came inside at 10:00 and it was 68*. I had been outside for 4 hours. Was dizzy. Think I got a little sun stroke. Drank tons of water and passed out for 3 hours. Could also have been low blood sugar as I'm having same problem as granny with my sugar levels.

DD fell and hurt her hand, don't think its broke but she's complaining a lot. Good thing it's her left hand. Otherwise she'd say she wouldn't be able do her chores.

Still not feeling too great.

Camping hope your goat has her baby/babies soon.

145 days is average, but can go 140 days or as long as 155 days. Generally you see single kid going long and triplets, quads and larger litter kidding early. Also can vary by. breed. The tail head gets sunk in on either side of tail. There is a ligament that runs down either side tail and when it disapears does will deliver within 24 hours. If you Google there are good diagrams about how to check doe's ligaments.

I have raised Nubian dairy goats for 30 years and kidded out 30 or more does a year..
