Bee, your Bunny is nice! I have an EE, Monkey, with similar coloring. Syann looks like one of the Mediterranean breeds. They seem a little more aggressive sometimes.

I have good luck introducing new birds while free ranging. Less territorial. Also, the distraction of treats helps a lot.

So cute. Love little banty Cochin/Pekins! except maybe not the feathery feet so much. Is it just me, or are they maybe not all that smart? I had another, but a fox got her. My only loss to a predator. I loved Minnie Pearl's coloring Bunny is a little lonely without Minnie Pearl.
I found them to be very laid back and steady away. The little black one was just so steady and the little cockerel thought he was 10 men but so so friendly. Loved to be stroked, rather like a cat and always wanted more!! Minnie Pearl sure was a beutiful girl, sorry you lost her :hugs I hate foxes

They are both beautiful birds. Too bad one got taken a predator. :hit

Haven't had to deal with predators yet, but I'm sure come this winter I'll have to be on the lookout. We have mountain lions, wolves or coyotes (don't know which) racoon's and skunks. But they don't come down to the lower part of mountains until winter hits and food gets less at top.

Thank you. We were pretty sad. Don't have a predator problem here normally, but there was a mama fox with at least 3 kits in the neighborhood. Neighbors saw them, but didn't tell me until too late. The dogs keep most things out of the yard, and they even treed one of the young foxes.
