If I ask for help with groceries and shopping, and my request is denied, that boy gets none of the food that is special to him. Big deal for picky eaters. They usually help!

More cleaning for me today since our house guest will be here before dinner. Funny how having a visitor makes you look at the house with fresh eyes. Where did those cob webs come from? How did this stack of mail get so high? Gee, the cabinet doors are dusty.

I don't want it to be too perfect though, or they might want to stay longer. Hermits aren't crazy about visitors in the first place.

Are you feeding them one of your chickens for dinner?
Would they freak out having to eat one?

Morning all, sorry about the babies camping and granny.

Twist we were planning on a vacation to Mt. Rushmore then to see Yellowstone. If we had enough time we would head to Washington to see DD & GKs and Hubby's brother in Aberdeen, Washington.

I think I'm making headway in training the hound dog. Yesterday he dug up the chick I buried. Hubby took it from him and scolded him good. This morning when I went out to feed chickens one got out and the dog headed for it, all I had to say was no, he stopped dead in his tracks. Told dog to go back into other yard and he did. He stood there looking at me. He tried one other time coming over into the field where I was with the chickens. I said stop and go back and he did. Didn't have to use zapper.

my problem is I do not have generator backup   which means one heck of a bbq  should the power be out to long.

Maybe you should look into getting a generator.

Red wing feathers indicate male? Right wishing? Hard for me to say without seeing the comb. How old is it? I have lots of EEs we could compare it to.
