Peaceful protest.

While listening to all night news coverage of this event which occurred 32 miles from my front door, I engaged in relaxing google image searches of birthday greetings and cakes, and this came up. It made me giggle and I hope it affects you the same way.
Perhaps "peaceful" is a relative term.

I took the phone out of my bedroom so it wouldnt wake me. It did anyway. Stumbling through the house it scared me to see it came from Jackson Co. hospital . Only Jackson I know is KY. but it has my area code. Come to find out The one that cant hear answered the phone.

After research (and coffee) I discovered it is a hospital in Seymore In. and it is also a pain clinic. I tried calling them back . You cant talk to a real person. You leave a message and they will call you back within 24 hrs.

about 60 miles from me.

Not sure I've ever used that phrase before, but in this case it is true.  Protesters were playing by the rules.  Heavily armed snipers fired from the tops of buildings.  11 officers shot and 4 dead is what they are reporting now.  This was a planned act of violence by a few bad people.  The protesters were the bait and doing nothing wrong. 

I phrased it poor wishing. I just meant how many times have we heard "peaceful protest" and it's ended in violence and/or destruction. That whole situation was just borked up.
