My kids play a lot of the app games.. What kind of games does he like. I can start looking around.

I dont have a clue. I dont want you to start looking for one, just some advise. I wonder if this one is fixable ? It takes a disk , is a black box with a silver plate on the front where 4 places to plug something in.

In the mean time... You should as your daughter if she or her hubby has an old smart phone that isn't in service. You can hook it up to your wifi and he can download and play some apps.

Did it just stop working? Is it hot? like over heated
Is it a playstation?
Sometimes "game" stores can fix them.

I dont know what it is. a square box. LOL probably 6in squared. It wont do the picture /lines and black and white

The phone is a good idea.
My 13 yr old has a phone and the two younger ones "just had to have" one too.
They have our old ones and only use our wifi internet so they can play games/apps too, like the older one.
The older one doesn't even actually talk on the phone...they just text or video call now a days.
