Although he texted a lot while I was gone. Think he got lonely. Hubs and #2 are still chasing sea creatures in Maui. They'll get back super late on Friday. Buster's chicks are huge! Can't believe how much they grew in 4 days.

Sorry to hear about DD and your adventures in babysitting. Hope she manages those meds ok. The heat out your way sounds like what we get here, but we don't get humidity. Water under the trees in the shade really helps cool thing off, especially if there's a breeze.

enterocolitis, isnt that e-coli ? I hope she does well too. Its been almost a year. I couldnt believe it.
#1 cant show you how happy he is, that wouldnt be cool ! But you know.. I am glad your home safe and sound !

The trip was really nice, but a bit hard on a hermit like me. Don't sleep well away from home, especially when you can hear strange noises and snoring. Many many many people at the aquarium, not all of the well mannered, or calm, or quiet. Very un-hermit like in fact. Sometimes I would just have to get near a wall and breathe or head outside for a bit. But the bay there is something to see. Huge kelp forests that rise up from the bottom, and the sea otters wrap themselves in the kelp to keep from floating away at night. We went for a walk last night and tracked 2 of them and a couple of harbor seals along the shore. Very cool, and lots of beautiful birds too. And you all know how much I love birds!

Could be caused by several kinds of bacteria, viruses or fungi. Imflammation of the colon & small intestine.

This was our view at lunch on Friday. Cormorants flanked on either side by harbor seals (the 2 smaller "rocks" on the larger rocks on each side). All the brown stuff in the water in back is kelp.
