At this point I can not trust my dog....the same big dog that slept with my newborn baby....that is just as sweet as a dog can be...
but when it comes to chickens....he turns into a monster.
He looks pitiful right now....
staring at me with his head down...I know he is sorry.  but my poor chicks!

Be careful with this. As much as he's a family member, he is still a dog. He's not a monster, just doing what most dogs would also do in the same situation. And he's not a bit sorry about it. He's only worried that you are mad at him. That's all he really knows and cares about. There is a learning curve to keeping chickens. Sometimes it comes early, sometimes later, but it always comes. We have all had problems at one time or another. :hugs
