Typical Granny day.. CB didnt get to see the dr. matter of fact we never made it there. We left the house at 10:30. His appt . was for 1:30. My GPS decided it wanted to play. Of course we didnt know this til we were in Louisville.Because thats where it took us. Then it decided we needed to get back on the freeway we just got off. AHH, But I have been here before and have a general idea where the hospitals are clustered. By now we know the GPS isnt working right so we start asking people on the street. Every single person we talked to gave us different directions including the nurses that work the hospitals. after going through 8 people we finally find Kosairs ! We are already half hr. late. Parking garage is another mess all by itself. 5th level and we start walking. information has a sign up, Back in 5 min. so we wait. Not only are we NOT at the right place but were not even in the right part of town ! Lady lets us call them, If we can make it by 3 they will still see him. Its,2:30. New directions and off we go. This time I am in tears and insist to Tom that sil drives . Peeps, We ended up in Elizabeth town. another hour further away from home and no drs. in sight.We were about 100 miles away from Nashville. I wanted to keep going. everyone else said $20.00 between us wouldnt cut it. I had to stop for gas twice and got lost twice on the way home. we had to backtrack to Louisville . I got home at 7:30. Thats 9 hrs. behind the wheel on a mcdonalds cheese burger. I failed my poor CB.
