How have you all been?
Hi Bunny! Been meaning to ask you about your buns? What kind do you have? We have a little blue minirex house bun named Chicory. Very sweet and always uses his little box, the good boy. We had a fawn Flemish Giant before too, but he died a few years back. Seriously considering another Flemish. Such a cool dude.

The Ideal 236 is a breed cross layer developed by Ideal Poultry in the 1960's and is the most productive, efficient layer sold by Ideal. This breed cross has excellent highbred vigor, which takes advantage of the specific combinability involving a combination of 3 strains of White Leghorns and a white egg barred breed cross. The specific combination of strains/breeds has produced a bird with excellent livability and the ability to lay for a long period of time without moulting.
The mature weight of Ideal 236 hens is 4.5 lbs. which is heavier than most commercial layers.

wonder what the rare leghorns are ? If you want lots of eggs or a white egg every other day from a pretty chicken ?

Every other day would be fine.
But I can only order from what is listed about.

My first batch I got a Cali White...I still see her often and she is very nice...Im kinda leaning towards one of them.
What are you thinking Granny?
Those frizzle and silkie kind are growing on my but Im still not too sure about the poofy head ones.
