good morning every one . Birthday was nice. I got some GREAT pics of the Yaks before, during, and after the opening of the "magic portal" to the biggest pasture they have ever been in. Some of the grass is so tall all you can see is the horns on the cows and the calves just disappear.

Porter of course stopped 1/2 thru the gate and just started munching grass.

The whole herd working their way to the "magic portal" That is Enola actually facing the camera full on with her calf Tibbets on the left and then Nostril (Star's) on the right of her with his head hiding and the tip of the white tail , to the left of Tibbets is Wagoner and then Hailey. Porter being anti-social. Actually he was staring at the dogs up by the gates into the tit. He is very good and protective of the herd. BUT not over the top, just aware should he be needed.

Star didn't get very far before stopping to graze either.




And finally a good size comparison of Wagoner and I think Crazy Sheila I am just Amazed at how fast the calves grow. Wagoner was born 5-14 so not even 3 months old yet.
