I'm debating tossing her eggs under broody in another day or so. That would be an interesting mutt chicken...speckled Sussex and whatever that lil guy is....with the feathered feet!!

I think it will be cool to see if they hatch. He is a curious looking thing too. Lol

So I just read back on my old thread to see why I stopped fermenting feed.the old thread was like a daily journal of life back them. It seems I stopped doing it because the dogs were eating it instead of the birds. It was the cayenne experiment that screwed up the egg production of the birds. So I guess I have no hard evidence against fermenting feed. Lol

My chickens laid better with thr fermented feed. Thete was way lrss poop because they digest the food bettet- probiotics.
