DH is panicking over the number of roos I wanted to keep, and he only knew about three.
He wants 10 chickens TOTAL over winter. There's no way that's happening.
I think 16 pullets/hens and two roos will work great at the camp coop. I'm going to try to keep the two blood lines of honas: Ragnar and his ladies, then the two other roos and however many they wind up with.
I could replace Ragnar with one of his sons, I guess. I just don't want to get without a backup roo like last year with the speckled sussex.
