I am on day 5 of Chantix.
I bought a pack of cigs on Monday morning...I just finished that pack last night!
(I usually smoke a whole pack a day)

I knew I was running "low" so I bought a new pack yesterday.
It's already 1pm and I have not even finished ONE WHOLE cig!
I light it and put it out..re light.

I am getting really EXCITED....I just now AM FINALLY convinced I can actually quit!

Your suppose to put the cigs down on day 7...Im pretty sure Im going to be able to do it.
My mom has been on chant for over a month now and hasn't put the cigs down YET.
Her Dr. says it's ok...that she will put them down soon...Im not convinced that she is going to be able to yet.

I just can not believe how a stupid pill can make an addict quit.....I have been smoking for over 20 yrs.
I am still amazed how this is working for me.
1st and 2 nd day were a lil rough..but I actually feel great now!
I'm only on .5 mg twice a day....I'm fixing to move it to 1 mg twice a day.

I went out to clean this morning and one of my silkies was dead.she was the one that had trouble pooping when she was little and couldn't lay good just soft egg

That is so awesome! I'm so glad that you feel like you WANT to quit. A lot of people just try to quit for other reasons and it doesn't work out. My mom smokes and smoke and the smell makes me so sick. I make kids take showers when they come from her house... I love my mom so much but I wish she could quit for all of our sakes
