Flooding is bad again. Chicken customer in the Baton Rouge area said they got 20 inches of rain yesterday. Interstates are closed. BYC members in the LA thread have reported "thigh deep" to 4 feet of water in homes in their areas. Mom and dad are stranded here because the roads home are closed.

The weather system is moving and acting exactly like a hurricane. Just crawling along, slowing churning, and dumping buckets of water.

Stay safe, my friend. Are you scared?

Nope. We're on high ground. Hate bubba doesn't feel good.

I sold 6 chickens today! BCM hen (not laying) for $15, two mixed pullets (12 weeks) for $5 each, and three brooder babies: one HRIR roolet for $3, and two probably HRIR chicks for $1 each.

So $30 all together. Not too shabby! The guy really only wanted HRIR, so I made the price super low in case they come out mixed. A happy customer is a returning customer. :D
