Coq au vin is a French dish of chicken braised with wine, lardons, mushrooms, and optionally garlic.
CB is great! Pancakes and kitchen cleaning. Love it!
I tried. Kids were up at 6 or so. Amazing they can't do that on a school day.
Just found DD's favorite hen dead in the yard. She was lying on her back, no holes in her. Not sure what happened. Only 2 years old.

Poor girls...the hen and DD.
Is DD ok?
sorry to hear that Camping poor baby.. Is she heart broken ? I introduced death to Robert at a very early age just because there seemed to be so many .. I wanted him to understand it. Maybe a little funeral ?
I called DH and he said he'll take care of talking to DD when he gets home. She knows they die pretty often, and she generally does ok. But this was the one she's had since it was a chick, one of our very first chickens ever. DD is holding her in the staff pic. It's not going to be fun.actually I dont know what braised is either. Is that a quick fry ?
