I'm at a stand still with my credit cause I don't have a job... If I can get devins going I can start working on mine and Kyles... Kind of using him to piggy back my fico.

Yes. I'm not working, but I have credit cards in my own name on a shared account with hubs. It still seems to affect my score.

Hi, everyone! Just popping in on my lunch hour to try to get caught up on this thread. Well, back to reading.

This is an easy thread to get behind on. Miss a few days means a few hundred pages! Totally worth catching up though, in my opinion.

It seems like Devin is stuck on our original plan of buying a house instead of renting... Especially now that Kyle has no one to help him along. He says we have to plan on keeping Kyle with us no matter what. I get it. I love Kyle too. Just taking forever to get our ducks in a row.

I know you are under a lot of stress, but if you can manage to stick with the plan, it will take much less time than going back to renting. Imagine that rent check every month going into your house investment! Once school starts, maybe you could find a part time job or volunteer somewhere for a few hours a week. Libraries are a nice quiet place to volunteer. Anything to get out of the house for a few hours a week.
