I am so happy you decided to stick around. It seems like I have known you my whole life. I dont know what I would do if I didnt get to talk to you now. Freak out like I did when you were hiking I guess. Love you sis.

Happy Granniversary! So glad I found this thread. 2 years zips by so fast. I was freaking out yesterday a little when you couldn't get on. Take care of yourself today. Maybe better to get into urgent care while you still have the choice.

Ran out to let chickens out and saw that one of my favorite Serama hens is not feeling well. (one of the calico types that you like). She wasn't looking really active yesterday either. So I caught her and put her in a cage to see if I can help her. She is a good weight, and no other symptoms at all except for lethargy. She came out with the others, but would just stand there, a little puffed out, and closed her eyes. Crop was empty, but she was still on the roost when I let them out, so maybe just hadn't gotten to it yet. She is eating hard boiled egg now and some all flock. It's not cocci... don't have that trouble here... they are out all day, lots of sun to kill the cocci... never been a problem even with new chicks straight on the ground. Without other symptoms, I don't know what to do for her. Electrolytes in the water... any other ideas?? She is 3 yrs old

I had a hen like that and I waited and watched. She plopped out a soft shell egg and she was better.

best of luck fixing/curing your sick-ish hen there wishing.

I think I am going to take a page from Granny's book and attempt a nap if the phones don't ring and no one comes in the office.

Rotten night last night for sleeping that makes 2 in a row.

Best of luck on everyone's endeavors catch some or all of you latter.

It doesn't even do that for me. Just turns the link red and sits there.

Quote: I hope it's something simple like that. Maybe I could try giving her a little extra calcium. That's supposed to help contractions. First thing I looked at was her rear end. All normal .
