We're Methodist. My baby bro went to an assemblies preschool. We went to a few events they put on. My moms family is all Pentecostal. Dad's sister is full-gospel/nondenom. Dad has been a Methodist pastor since I was 3.
I like it because it's like a denomination of introverts. We're charismatic, but quiet about it. John Wesley (founder of Methodism) was preaching about the Holy Spirit in the late 1700s. He said he felt his heart "strangely warmed." Very inspirational man. We were able to visit St. Simon's Island, GA,where he had spent some time. They have a Methodist history museum with a few of his letters on display. Very neat.
