Whites, I would LOVE to take you up on that. It hasnt been so very long ago. I didnt know how to do the roof so I did a flat roof and hired someone to put the rubber roofing on it. Very expensive but It has to be done right. the other roofs I did was sloped one way. LOL But I sure enjoyed myself.

Don't feel bad. If my BIL wasn't a carpenter with a lifetime's experience mine would only slope one way, too. He laid out a jig & built the 1st truss. All I had to do was copy it 8 more times, but I managed to screw it up 'cause I didn't know what I was doing & he had to make the jig all over again.

When you're up to full speed again, come on over; I'll probably have another project going.

We have a wild flower that looks like that, it's called marshmallow.

from the same family. very pretty ! does it look like begonia leaves ?

I haven't seen one very close, but it looks pretty much like hibiscus leaves. Edit: I was thinking petals. Leave do look a little like begonia.

ouch ! I use a lot of 2x2s . perches, tree stakes. supports. ladders for the chickens.
