hum only problem is I really don't know about the breeds that are actually available I have no idea if the Deleware are going to be my forever breed and Austroporps aren't available. Brahamas are cost effective so not my main breed.

how are barred rocks for egg laying and egg size I believe you have/had them

Wishing, i don t have much in garden now & they are staying in the yard near the coop trying yo get back inside. Two hens escaped the run to be with them & laid 3 eggs in edge of pasture behind the run. Only thing i can figure is another escaped then wiggled back in. Wont happen tomorrow because i wired the holes they pushed out shut.

No stopping true love!

Just for you wishing! This is what armadillos do to the yard. I was tripping and turning my ankles all the way to the neighbor's house.

That's not quite as bad as what the wild boars do, but they are dangerous. They don't give you leprosy, though.
